Considering scientists presenting their works to a wide audience, I have two main references: <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/%C3%89tienne_Klein\" title=\"\u00c9tienne\u00a0Klein\" target=\"_blank\">\u00c9tienne\u00a0Klein<\/a> and Jean-Pierre\u00a0Luminet. If I take them as references, it is because I consider their works in this area being among the best ones. So, of course I recommend you take a tour on Jean-Pierre\u00a0Luminet\u2019s website: several themes are discussed in depth and rigorously, all in a form that is, in my opinion, very accessible. Also, <a href=\"http:\/\/le-bars.net\/yoann\/en\/2015\/07\/23\/the-big-bang-when-the-universe-is-not-banging\/\" title=\"The Big\u00a0Bang: when the Universe is not banging!\">I have already mentioned Jean-Pierre\u00a0Luminet in my journal<\/a>, so it is only logical that I take a little time to present him to you.<\/p>\n<p>When presenting <a href=\"http:\/\/le-bars.net\/yoann\/en\/2015\/10\/24\/presentation-of-e-penser\/\" title=\"Presentation of e-Penser\">e-Penser<\/a>, I indicated that we all have our limits, me included. This implies that Jean-Pierre\u00a0Luminet has also his ones. I have to say, regarding his scientific popularisation work, I am not really able to bring out a lot. I can mention, for example, that <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/luminet\/2015\/09\/03\/le-rasoir-dockham-1-le-principe-de-simplicite\/\" title=\"Le Rasoir d\u2019Ockham (1)\u00a0: le principe de simplicit\u00e9\" target=\"_blank\">he calls the law of parsimony \u201claw of simplicity,\u201d<\/a> which can lead to believe it is about preferring the simplest explanation, while it is about preferring explanations requiring fewer assumptions (as he explains in his article). Granted, this is but a detail\u00a0...<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/le-bars.net\/yoann\/en\/2016\/03\/01\/william-had-a-good-razor\/\" title=\"William had a good razor!\">Anyway, you can read my presentation of the law of parsimony.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Then again, one can always question the balance between detailing a topic and remain accessible.
